Bacta membership is more beneficial than ever for all facets of the coin-op industry and at EAG International the trade association is offering a 10 percent first year discount for new sign ups on top of their regular benefits package. As the principal trade association for the amusement and gaming machine industry, Bacta husbands the interests of more than 500 companies and 1,000 individuals. Due to this the organisation offers peerless representation to stakeholders. The Association protects the interests of members through a variety of measures, including LCCP evaluation and training, which makes sure policies and procedures are fully up to date in the event of inspection by either the Gambling Commission or local authority. Adding to this are security and software alert services, which allows bacta members to share information with each other. Membership also comes with a raft of free professional services to guide best practices for all members. Such services include: advice, training packages, age verification testing, compliance toolkits, crime bulletins and a weekly subscription to the industry leading trade publication Coinslot. To complement the range of services afforded by membership, companies are able to be part of the Bacta self-exclusion scheme. In addition to this members can benefit from free registration with an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution service. This arbitration resource is fully licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and aims to facilitate the smooth resolution of any disputes relating to the outcome of gambling between consumers and operators. In terms of pecuniary benefits, members are entitled to substantial discounts on Bacta posters and leaflets and a greatly reduced exhibitor rate at the annual EAG International show. Bacta members also receive a substantial discount on the Association’s state of the art meeting room facilities at the prestigious bacta office in central London. Although already established as the primary trade association in the industry, Bacta is a constantly growing entity, and anyone signing up to membership whilst at EAG will receive a 10 percent discount on their first year subscription fee.
