GPT is to be integrated into JCM Global’s leading Ticket2Go system, after the international payments firm was impressed by the cashless solution’s “technology and functionality.”

JCM Global, the world leader in transaction and payment technologies, has confirmed that it will integrate the Game Payment cashless payment solution into its Ticket2Go system.

The partnership will see the GPT system offered as part of the market-leading networked TITO solution, which is widely used in AGCs throughout the UK.

The collaboration is another significant step forward for the Bacta-owned cashless app, providing a global reach for the specialist amusements and gaming industry innovation.

With support for many different languages and currencies, Ticket2Go is installed in a wide variety of jurisdictions around the world, enabling operators to replace cash-handling with a simple, ticket-based solution. And now, players in AGCs will soon be able to pay and collect winnings via Ticket2Go using their Game Payment app.

“Collaborating with JCM to integrate Game Payment with Ticket2Go provides AGC operators with a much more attractive offering than before,” said GPT director Tim Stratton. “The combination of the two systems means that operators can offer cashless payment without needing to change individual gaming machines. The solution incorporates social responsibility measures and opportunities for precisely targeted marketing initiatives.”

JCM Europe (UK) Ltd MD Payam Zadeh (pictured) explained: “JCM are continually extending the range of features and functionality on our Ticket2Go system, and we have been impressed with the technology and functionality offered by the GPT cashless payment system.”

He added: “We are delighted that both companies are now working together so that GPT’s cashless payment solution can be incorporated into our own product. We are working closely together on opportunities in the UK and will soon announce the extension of GPT’s cashless payments, through Ticket2Go, in other countries.”

The new deal comes at an opportune time for both JCM and Game Payment Technology with the cashless function expected to go live in the UK “in early 2023”, with JCM expecting to release new Ticket2Go cashless functionality here in the domestic market within the coming months and then making it available in other countries quickly after.
