Majestic Bingo has started developing plans for a grand launch event at its Judges Hall venue in Tonypandy, to coincide with the airing of the BBC’s new series Full House.

Filmed in February by Tuesday’s Child, the eight-part series follows a week in the life of staff and customers at the Glamorgan club, and is set for broadcast later this year.

“At my club in Tonypandy today,” said MD Mark Jepp via social media on 29 July. “I am here to talk to Adam Rowland our GM about our new Majestic Pots product. We are also planning the grand launch of the upcoming Full House eight-part BBC TV show that we believe is due to air in September.”

“I have already watched rough cuts of Full House and I must say it’s a fantastic bit of TV that shows the best of everything a day in the life of a Majestic Bingo club has to offer (I can’t wait!)”

The series builds on the success of a 2020 pilot episode – initially filmed in 2019 – which received a 21 percent share of the available audience when broadcast.

While at the venue, Jepp also caught up with one of the “stars of the show” Helen Llewellyn, who has been a customer of Judges Hall for over 40 years.

“Now that’s a loyal customer,” said Jepp.
