Bongo’s Bingo is to hold its largest events yet at Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre, with two new nights entitled “Bongo’s Bingo XL presents 90s Forever” taking place this summer.
Featuring a selection of special guests and “absolute Bongo’s faves,” the anarchic bingo phenomenon will set up at the 8,000-capacity venue from 5 to 6 August.
“We are all pinching ourselves as we announce our XL shows for Liverpool,” said Johnny Bongo. “We’ve been going over seven years now and it’s been an incredible, crazy and intense journey.”
“It’s fitting that for the summer we mark the occasion with these two huge shows at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool. It’s the right moment for us to go XL in Liverpool and create something mindblowing for the city and everyone who’s shared the ride with us in our hometown and where it all began.”
Bongo’s Bingo was created in 2015 by Jonny Lacey – alias Johnny Bongo – and Joshua Burke, with the first events taking place in Liverpool, at the Baltic Triangle’s Camp and Furnace, before establishing an international events network from Blackpool to Dubai.
“We want to thank everyone for their support over the years,” added Bongo. “90s Forever is going to be class.”
