Ian Shreeve, Inspired Entertainment’s VP Gaming Sales, says that the firm is “very happy” following its presentation at EAG 2022, with its B3, Cat C, and Pusher ranges finding a “sweet spot” in the market.
Inspired’s new tri-fold product range helped deliver “four times more business than in 2019” at this year’s EAG, said Inspired’s Ian Shreeve. Despite market-wide supply issues continuing to affect delivery timelines, he predicted a positive 2022.
“There was plenty of business done at EAG, I’m pleased to say,” Shreeve said. “We had a very, very good show. We took some large orders. There was a lot of interest, which we’ve followed up on, and post the show, we’re very, very happy.”
And Inspired had every reason to be happy: “I can report, to the world and to the market, that we took four times more business than we did in 2019, and 2019 wasn’t a poor show.”
That’s some show for the versatile manufacturer.
Inspired’s range of products puts the company “in a bit of a sweet spot at the moment on three fronts,” Shreeve said. But one product stands out: the Flex B3.
“We have a full order book already. Our customers are talking – our AGC customers in particular – and the market knows that performance is extremely strong, so we have a natural flow of orders coming in for the premium B3 product.”
Shreeve said the Flex B3 “generated a lot of interest, a lot of people asking when they can get it, we’re now looking at July and August for new orders, but that’s not stopping people from placing them.”
In the Cat C market, the company’s Fortune Community, launched in October 2021, was on show after performing “extremely well” in pre-Christmas testing. Shreeve reported that the Fortune Community “improved our Cat C averages by 40 to 50 percent, which has driven a lot of interest, resulting in a healthy order book.”
Completing the impressive trio was Inspired’s range of four-player and eight-player Pushers, including Monopoly and Pac-Man. “We’re seeing a lot of FEC operators coming to us to invest,” said Shreeve, noting more than 150 Pusher orders.
With such an impressive and varied range of products, and with “lots of opportunity out there” as new premises open weekly, Inspired had much to celebrate. Shreeve went on to say: “The integration of the business acquired from Novomatic is behind us and we are leveraging the experience of Inspired as a worldwide leader and innovator to really take the enlarged company to the next level. We are excited about the performance of our latest products, we have some great innovations coming and the EAG show was a great validation of our strategy.”
