Novomatic Gaming UK’s director of sales Kevin Temple reports that the company celebrated a “fantastic” edition of EAG, with the new Thaumic cabinet and the Magic Games Premium HD and NovoLine B3 game packs among the highlights of its presentation.
Coinslot: How did this year’s EAG go for you?
Kevin Temple: The show was fantastic! Our new cabinet and game portfolios received lots of interest from customers which was great.
Both the Magic Games Premium HD and NovoLine game packs are very popular amongst operators due to the number of games they have as well as the variation of titles, there is something to suit every player.
Coinslot: What were some of the highlights of your product presentation at the show?
Kevin Temple: The stand itself was phenomenal, we were really pleased with how it all came together, it is always exciting when something you have visualised digitally comes to life!
The Thaumic cabinet really stood out, we had a row of 11 Thaumic cabinets stood to attention across the width of the stand, coupled with artwork infills which made a huge impact for anyone visiting us.
We showcased the new Magic Games Premium HD B3 game pack which has 49 titles including Fortune Fishing which had a lot of attention, as well as the NovoLine B3 game pack which currently has 26 titles including multiple Cash Connection themes and an ever-growing portfolio through regular game updates.
We also launched the Thaumic cabinet with the Magic Games Premium HD Cat C game pack which received a great response. It has 24 games which include 3 brand new Lock N Spin titles.
Finally, we showcased our brand new Minislots Digital Cat D cabinets, which looked brilliant between the V.I.P. Lounge upright machines. These have been highly anticipated as they are completely digital, include a touchscreen, have a built-in phone charger and the ability to advertise when not in play.
Coinslot: It was the industry’s first EAG for over 26 months. What was the mood at the show like and what were some of the main talking points?
Kevin Temple: We met with lots of customers in a face-to-face environment for the first time since ACOS back in October 2021. It was refreshing and great to hear how they are getting on in their AGC’s.
Novomatic Gaming UK are continuing to install our state-of-the-art collection of machines in all of the new AGC venues opening up across the UK, which further enhances the brand and its capabilities.
The general mood from the show was positive and uplifting on the back of a positive trading climate. This year has started strong for most people which is pleasing to hear, we hope that it continues this way throughout the rest of the year.
The expansion of AGC venues across the UK is positive and boosts morale within the industry and it has been great to discuss with AGC operators their plans for the next 12 months.
Coinslot: What will be your focuses going into spring in terms of new products and projects?
Kevin Temple: Our main priorities going forward from the EAG exhibition are ensuring that we satisfy the demand for the orders made at EAG and continue to progress developments on the NovoLine B3 platform, which has some very exciting games in the pipeline.
At present we look at releasing a new game every month which mirrors the pattern for the B1 market, games with ground breaking features and iconic characters are always met with positive feedback.
Our new cabinet the Thaumic and the Magic Games Premium HD 49 title game pack have hit the floor running and our aim is to continue the momentum of these products.
As always, we endeavour to listen to our customers regarding their ideas, requirements and expectations of Novomatic products, to ensure that they have the best possible experience with us at NGUK.
Finally, Novomatic Gaming UK would like to take this opportunity to thank all of their customers, colleagues and partners who supported the stand at the exhibition and made it such a success.
