While 2021 was a challenging year for both Shipley Creative and its clients, the company is optimistic for the recovery of the sector and, reflecting this, is expanding its office space.
The print and design firm services much of the independent arcade and bingo sector and delivers over 5.8 million pieces of Direct Mail on behalf of its customers.
The company recently announced plans to expand its Greater Manchester offices in Leigh. Shipley intends to double its office space by refurbishing the unused first floor of the building. The entire floor has been redesigned to accommodate the company’s full team of designers and support staff in larger, more modern facilities.
The premises was previously a former Co-operative head office and store, while the unused first floor retained a number of old fixtures and fittings, including a clocking in machine, staff canteen, and memo board.
The ground floor of the company’s offices will now be utilised as a production and finishing space.
Shipley is also investing in updating its technology and has installed hyperoptic broadband, capable of handling large artwork file sizes, and upgraded its Adobe design packages, while the revamp has also seen the addition of a commercial goods lift.
