A quartet of new cabinets, a unique new service application to help customers maximise their machine income and a passion for product are all features of the formidable Blueprint presence at EAG.
Nicola Wallbank, Head of Corporate Accounts at Blueprint Operations, has confirmed that the market-leading brand is going to EAG boosted by a strong commercial end to 2021, a well-received and highly productive national roadshow, a new buy direct structure that provides additional support to customers and with a formidable quartet of cabinets including the Cat C Alpha Trio which is making its exhibition debut at the ExCeL London event.
Expanding on the exciting product offering, Nicola said: “Our cabinet line-up comprises the B3 Wave+ and Auroramax+ which will be appearing alongside the Alphamax S Category C and the high impact Alpha Trio which is a three-screen cabinet, 15-game Cat C menu for high street gaming venues.”
The Wave+ and Auroramax+ are player-centric cabinets delivering the excitement and immersive qualities expected from out of home entertainment. Both feature large screens – the Wave+ has a 43” curved portrait screen with the Auroramax+ boasting two 32” HD screens. They have a new 15.6” video play deck to deliver a more interactive experience and the QXI6000 Quad core PC for enhanced graphical performance and smooth gameplay. The Wave+ is supplied with an optional plinth which can raise the height of the machine.
With a cabinet design based on the site proven and highly popular AlphaMax, the Alpha Trio features three 27” monitors which provide designers with more opportunities to present game concepts utilising all three screens. The menu features three new games, comprising Luck O’ The Irish Megaways, Fishin’ Frenzy Megaways and Eye of Horus Megaways. Three progressive pots are displayed on the top monitor with each of the three games adding to the pot during game play.
The Alphamax S cabinet features a new monitor configuration which delivers an immersive player experience across two seamless monitors. The high play-appeal menu features two new game launches in the form of Fishin’ Frenzy Catch of the Day and Deal or No Deal – Lightning Spins. Both cabinets feature the MD100 gold with spectral technology and are driven by the QXI6000.
“Our product development strategy across both Cat C and B3 is to provide players with a seamless entertainment journey and that means delivering great graphic content onto the size and quality of screens that consumers have become accustomed to and now expect from their entertainment spend” Nicola explained. “What’s abundantly clear is that the more time we spend talking product with our customers, fully understanding their operational requirements and what their players want – the more we are able to deliver strong income earning product. Responding to what players like and applying forensic attention to detail are both key to Blueprint’s product offerings hence the use of high-quality components such as the MD100 and the spectral note technology as well as the inclusion of features including the 15.6” video deck that serve to future-proof the cabinets.”
She added: “EAG follows the completion of what was a really useful and I should add highly enjoyable national roadshow, during which we were able to spend time with 150 customers in ten towns and cities beginning in Glasgow ending in Norwich and covering a distance of over 800 miles. The roadshow provided a relaxed opportunity for us to explain the benefits of our buy direct programme which we confirmed December 2021. Essentially, the programme provides customers with enhanced support and access to the new Blueprint Customer Portal which provides information on game briefs, technical manuals and training guides. We have also recruited a talented and knowledgeable Account Management Team which has been assembled to help our customers maximise their Blueprint machine income. Although it’s not a product in the conventional sense the Blueprint Buy Direct structure is another key feature that we will be promoting at the show.”
Reflecting on the importance of EAG to the Blueprint business and to the industry as a whole, she stated: “The nucleus of the UK industry comes to EAG which constitutes the most important meeting place for the domestic low stake and amusements sectors. I think the 2022 edition will be the most significant for many years. All of the early signs suggest that we can look forward to an uninterrupted trading period which will be reflected in enhanced levels of customer confidence, enthusiasm and optimism. The high street market continues to grow and there is a collective desire to build on the success of October’s ACOS. As a team we are certainly looking forward to making an important contribution to what I am sure will be a highly successful show.”
