Television production company Tuesday’s Child is calling for “colourful characters and bingo besties” to appear on a new series of bingo documentary Full House, filmed at Judges Bingo Hall next month.
The series builds on the success of a 2020 pilot episode, which received a 21 percent share of the available audience when broadcast, with filming for an eight-episode series set to begin on 28 February.
“A fun, new BBC TV series is looking for groups of people to come and play bingo,” said a call-out from Tuesday’s Child. “We are looking for fun, outgoing, chatty people (couples/ friends/families and especially key workers, eg. carers, nurses and teachers) who live in south Wales for a new BBC series set in Judges Bingo Hall, Tonypandy.”
“Whether you’re a bingo lover or just fancy chancing your luck and having a fun night out – we’d love to hear from you.”
The series returns after a “really encouraging” response to the first episode, which filmed at the hall in 2019, with MD Mark Jepp noting: “I think it’s important to develop ideas that can promote bingo as fun, great value for money entertainment and help profile the Majestic brand.”
