Puttshack has opened a fourth UK venue, bringing its high-tech brand of mini golf to Watford’s Atria shopping centre in time for Christmas.
Joining existing venues in Bank, Lakeside and White City, the new opening features the firm’s proprietary Trackaball system and an expansive F&B offer.
“The opening of our Watford site on 1 December has been long-awaited,” said MD Hugh Knowles. “It’s a great feeling being able to offer the unique Puttshack experience to more people in more locations as we look to expand in the UK.”
“The regeneration of Watford itself has been quite remarkable over the last few years, we love how diverse the demographic of people is. We see this as a very enhanced market with more to come and plus it’s great to bring things like this to the town.”
Puttshack aims to differentiate itself from mini-golf competitors by using RFID optimised balls to autoscore games, allowing players to enjoy Beer Pong, Pac-Man, Ring of Fire and Whack-a-Mole-themed holes without needing to manually record scores.
“Puttshack is an incredible experience for all the family, young and old, and we know that there are many existing fans as well as first-timers keen to check us out in Watford and the surrounding area.”
