Electric Gamebox has announced a new partner ship with animation studio Aardman, which will see the interactive games developer roll out a new Shaun the Sheep immersive experience in its London, Manchester and Essex venues.

Shaun the Sheep: Championsheeps transports groups of six young players to Mossy Bottom Farm, in order to compete in a number of animated sporting challenges such as Sheepy Uppy and Baah Bells. “We are thrilled to launch Shaun the Sheep’s first live immersive sporting adventures,” said Aardman head of attractions and live experiences Ngaio Harding-Hill. “The exciting new partner ship with Electric Gamebox provides fans of all ages with a completely unique Shaun the Sheep interactive digital event experience.”

“Bringing families and friends together to play all-new Shaun the Sheep Championsheeps action games, that celebrate the fun and physical humour of the characters in a fully immersive event.”

The 30-minute experience requires players to don a motion tracking visor in order to compete together with teammates, with the new experience now live at Electric Gameboxes in the Arndale centre, London Southbank, and Riverside in Essex.

“Shaun the Sheep is such an iconic and well-loved character,” said Electric Gamebox CEO Will Dean. “It has been a pleasure to work with Aardman to bring him to life in a unique way.”
