Blueprint make powerful statement of intent with launch of three new WOW! factor cabinets and 14-day delivery commitment

Blueprint Operations pulled out all of the stops at ACOS showing three high impact cabinets that deliver an interactive experience as well as looking the part in contemporary retail environments.


A positive, confident upbeat show where the industry was really happy to be back talking product and planning for the future’, is how Nicola Wallbank Head of Corporate Accounts at Blueprint Operations, described last week’s ACOS.

Despite the fact that ACOS is the smallest of the three industry shows being held in London over the ensuing months culminating in February’s ICE London, the brand, part of MERKUR UK, made an impressive and powerful statement of intent using the show as a platform to unveil three high impact cabinets all of which succeeded in delivering the WOW! factor.

“The response has been hugely positive to all three of our new cabinets but the feedback we’ve received from stand visitors was that they’ve been blown away by the Ultramax Cat C” stated Nicola. “Our overarching objective across both Cat C and B3 is to extend the digital entertainment experience into retail environments and part of that involves delivering cabinets that really look the part, with sleek, dynamic and contemporary design credentials.

“During lockdown we put the enforced dwell-time to productive use and spoke to our customers in detail about their wish lists and what they wanted to see from a top performing gaming brand. One of the requests we received was to provide players with the biggest possible screen space which we have provided on the Ultramax by relocating the speaker and creating a seamless edge-to-edge gaming experience courtesy of the two 31.5” screens. Cabinets that look this impressive really stand-out in the retail space and in tandem with great gaming content attract more plays and earn more income as a consequence. In fact, we’ve just completed single site testing on 100 Ultramax and the income has been outstanding.”

Blueprint’s two B3 cabinets the Wave+ and Auroramax+ embrace the same player-led digital gaming strategy. Both feature large screens – the Wave+ has a 43” curved portrait screen with the Auroramax+ boasting two 32” HD screens. Both have a new 15.6” video play deck to deliver a more interactive experience and feature the QXI6000 Quad core PC for enhanced graphical performance and smooth gameplay. The Wave+ is supplied with an optional plinth which can raise the height of the machine and has new game play buttons that are resistant to the degradation caused by antibacterial cleaning products. Nicola explained: “Customers want their venues to look amazing which is why we ensure that Blueprint cabinets are designed to complement the vision and really high-spec fitouts that operators are applying to both their existing and to their new venues. I think Blueprint is much more like a tech company than we are a traditional manufacturer and that entails having a sharp focus on product design to enable customers to remain as future proof as possible, continuously investing in menus and the game pipeline to remain totally relevant to players and producing cabinets that really work in contemporary retail environments. When all of that comes together and you can also provide a 10-14 day delivery commitment to UK buyers it’s an unbeatable combination!”
