Majestic Bingo’s new Clubingo brand is “going from strength to strength,” with fans of the live music and traditional bingo events enjoying regular Big Nights Out at the brand’s Mansfield and Barrow-in-Furness clubs.
Majestic Bingo’s new entertainment brand Clubingo has enjoyed “record sales” since its launch at the Mansfield and Barrow-in-Furness clubs this summer, with Big Night Out events and live music driving the brand “from strength to strength.”
Noughties house favourites Ultrabeat delivered a series of sell out gigs this month as part of the live events programme, following a night of traditional bingo and “crazy bingo games with a twist.” “Our Clubingo brand offers a mix of fun nights out as well as showcasing bigger acts in towns that have little else to offer locally, especially as we have the scale and space to deliver outstanding events that are varied and appeal to a wide audience,” said MD Mark Jepp. “I’m proud of what we have created, and of our teams who have helped deliver a great night out.”
“Our customer feedback so far has blown us away with lots of positive messages, and our post event survey tells us that those who attended really enjoyed what we had to offer with over 95 percent saying they would recommend us to family or friends.”
The Big Night Out concept aims to offer Clubingo players a more immersive take on classic bingo, with participants invited to dance along to leading tribute acts after games, enjoying late-night bar opening, and even grabbing shots from mobile bartenders walking the floor.
“Whilst this is a totally different concept for our clubs, we’re still a bingo club at heart, so the bingo session runs as usual and we then switch to present Clubingo and all it has to offer,” said newly-appointed head of events Stuart Booth.
“We’re so impressed by the customer response, we’ve already got plans to launch the concept in more of our clubs by the end of the year.”
The Big Night Out programme launched on the first Saturday of every month from July under the “Clubingo presents…” banner, with the combination of bingo and dance music proving an attractive prospect for customers.
Following the success of the Ultrabeat events, Clubingo stated it is already well on the way to selling out the December gigs from 90s boyband 5ive, while bookings for N-Trance in February 2022 spiked significantly following Ultrabeat’s appearances.
