Leeds bowling alley Roxy Lanes is set to relocate from its Bond Street venue next year to a new site three times the size at The Light leisure and retail complex on The Headrow.

The expansion will see Roxy triple its lane offering from four to 12, alongside the addition of new shuffleboard lanes, American pool tables, beer pong stations, and two bars.

“This is an incredible location, right in the heart of Leeds city centre,” said brand development manager Joel Mitchell. “Whilst the Bond Street venue was a great starting point for us as a brand, it’s now time to up the ante and we’re delighted to be able to expand and offer our customers even more of that Roxy Lanes experience.”

“So many people want to catch up with friends or relatives or even have work socials and Roxy Lanes encapsulates that spirit of fun and brings people together. It’s a huge venue which has enabled us to add more games and a bigger bar area.”

The new 1,500 sq ft site will also feature two duckpin lanes and a curling lane, and comes as Roxy puts expansion at the heart of its 12 month strategy.

“What can people expect? A cool venue with welcoming staff and some great games to get involved in,” added Mitchell. “2022 is going to be a cracking year for Roxy Lanes.”
