OKTO, the leading digital payment solutions provider, that counts Xbox, Vodafone and Sony among its portfolio of blue-chip partners, has hit the ground running following its entry into the UK gaming sector.


In less than six months OKTO has formed strategic partnerships with Regal Gaming and Leisure, Inspired Entertainment and most recently with Bob Rudd. Via its OKTO.WALLET it now commands a market leading 60 percent share of the UK pub machine sector.

The OKTO solution enables consumers to quickly deposit and withdraw funds on gaming machines in a safe, transparent, seamless, and trouble-free way courtesy of the OKTO mobile app. As well as working on gaming machines, the cashless app allows winnings to be circulated within a venue, providing a major boost to the bottom-line profits of the pubs in which the machine is located. From a player perspective it gives the opportunity to spend winnings at any other location where Mastercard payments are allowed through OKTO’s Mastercard linked to the OKTO account, something which has proved to be a key factor for consumers who expect and demand both freedom and choice.

Simon Dorsen, Chief Commercial Officer at OKTO is clear that the OKTO digital wallet is an important contributor not just to the delivery of the optimum digitalised customer journey but also to the broader issue of safer gambling.
