GeWeTe expands technical support role in UK & Ireland with the appointment of Tony Spalding

As demand for GeWeTe’s cash handling equipment continues to grow, the company has strengthened its technical team to cope with the demand.

 

Cash handling specialist GeWeTe has expanded its Technical Support team in the UK and Ireland. Tony Spalding recently joined the Gauselmann subsidiary to strengthen the UK Team and will be reporting directly to Sales Manager, Mark Edmundson.

Spalding has worked in the amusements and gaming sector for many years and joins the GeWeTe Team from sister company Regal Gaming & Leisure. He commented: “It was not an easy decision to switch from Regal and the great team I worked with there for many years, but by moving to a national technical support role and expanding my knowledge further of the G&A sector, I see GeWeTe and its specialist cash handling equipment as a challenge and an opportunity to grow within the Gauselmann Group“.

GeWeTe CEO Aristidis Tsikouras stated: “Tony joins us at a great time with the increase in business and ever increasing install base of machines in the UK and Ireland, Tony joining the team is the start of our expansion programme for 2021 and we are already looking to expand the UK Team again. We look forward to a successful collaboration.”

“After 16-months of being unable to travel to the UK it was great to be back with the UK Team and finally meet Tony face to face rather than via Zoom. I took the opportunity to have a team meeting in London and bring everyone up to date on new features and models we have developed during the lock down” added Aristidis.
