Following £2.3m of investment, Club 3000 Robin Park has opened in Wigan with a celebratory event featuring live music, entertainment, and a celebrity guest.

Club 3000 threw open the doors of its brand-new Wigan Robin Park venue for the first time on 30 July, with a lavish celebratory event featuring live music and a celebrity guest.

“We were thrilled to launch our newest club here at Wigan,” said owner Brian Fraser. “The club demonstrates how we lead the way as a modern-day bingo operator.”

“We welcome all our new customers to the Club 3000 family. It was fantastic to see so many customers celebrating with us on the night.”

The new club is located near to the DW Stadium in the Robin Park retail estate, with Club 3000 transforming what was an existing leisure facility through “an innovative design and layout.”

The venue now seats nearly 1,400 customers, employs 40 staff, has 1000 free car parking spaces, and provides customers with “a first-class bingo experience.”

To mark the opening last week, guests at the first night event were entertained with a variety of live acts, including a magician, a steel band, and a variety of bingo, with each customer also being presented with an engraved champagne glass.

“The opening was a fabulous evening,” said GM Karen Gilligan. “The atmosphere was fantastic.”

Announcing the closure, Buzz released a statement telling staff and customers that “we’re really sad to bring you this news as we know this will be a difficult time for our community.”
