Caesars Palace arcade in Barry Island was the site of a robbery on 4 July, after two men broke into a Sonic Ballstars cabinet using bolt cutters hidden in a pram.

Following the incident, which was caught on CCTV, staff at operator Carousel Amusement Arcade posted footage of the pair on social media, urging the images be shared.

“Unfortunately this afternoon a problem surfaced at our Caesars Palace site where these “gentlemen” used what we are sure are bolt cutters taken from the pram seen below to access our machine and take its takings,” said a spokesperson.

“It’s disheartening that these people think they have the right to take what is not theirs and leave the machine with damage. We understand they may not be from this area, just a share could help us find these people, so please help us and share far and wide. We appreciate all your help and support.”

In response, the CCTV pictures were shared by almost 2,000 people, with many more taking to the comments section to express their shock.

Neighbouring arcades were also quick to spread the word, with Barry Island Promenade Fun Park commenting: “We have shared this on our page. Hope they are found soon.”
