Following the launch of its NHS “Thank You” bear and bag clip range last year, Whitehouse Leisure has raised over £10,000 for NHS Charities Together.

Whitehouse Leisure has announced its NHS “Thank You” and Rainbow Bears, launched last year in partnership with NHS Charities Together, have raised more than £10,000 to support essential healthcare workers across the UK.

Designed alongside sister company Posh Paws International, the range features bears with clapping-effect sound chips, nurses uniforms, and “Thank You” t-shirts, with a percentage of each sale going directly to the charity.

“Every NHS ‘Thank You’ and Rainbow Bear sold, helps fund support for NHS staff with counselling and helplines to protect their mental health, but also practical support such as necessary food, drink and rest areas, so that staff can continue their vital life-saving work to the best of their ability,” said a WHL spokesperson.

“Your support by ordering their teddy bears doesn’t just help NHS staff, but it also directly reaches patients, local communities and hundreds of other vital NHS projects covering the length and breadth of the UK, ensuring that support and funding reaches those who most need it.”

In response to the popularity of the range – which also features bears bearing “Save Lives” and “Stay Safe” slogans – WHL will now look to continue the momentum, with more donations still needed to support NHS staff as the country emerges from lockdown.

“The response that Whitehouse Leisure had from their customer s and consumers during lockdown for the “Thank You” and Rainbow Bears was fantastic.”

“With the country fully reopen again, Whitehouse Leisure aims to continue efforts in raising more donations for the NHS Charities Together this year with your support.”
