Weston’s Grand Pier is going on a recruitment drive, with three separate events held at the pier for seasonal staff applicants to meet their potential employers in an informal setting.
The pier is seeking to hire 150 new staff members in the run up to summer, with Heads of Department offering presentations on roles and recruitment opportunities at the landmark.
“We will do a presentation of the Pier and all the roles we are looking for, I am hoping to see a lot of people,” said head of operations Remy Haudecouer.
“Candidates do not need any particular level of experience as we can train them. This is a good opportunity for anyone who wants to change career or start a career in leisure hospitality.”
The recruitment days, held in the pier’s Regency Suite, will take place on 19, 20 and 24 April, with all those interested encouraged to book a place via the pier’s website.
“Pop along to one of our recruitment open days and meet the teams behind the scenes that deliver our visitors an experience to remember forever,” said a spokesperson via social media.
“You will get a chance to talk to the Heads of Department and find out about our recruitment opportunities across the company. The ideal candidate will be hard working and willing to learn.”
