Swan Events has confirmed ACOS is to return for 2021, setting up for the first time at the newly refurbished ILEC Conference Centre.
Swan Events has announced that the Autumn Coin-Op Show will take place on 20 and 21 October this year, setting up for the first time in the ILEC Conference Centre in West Brompton, London.
Managing director Karen Cooke confirmed the industry-favourite event will return for 2021, having been cancelled last year due to the impact of Coronavirus.
“We feel that in the current challenging business climate the opportunity to network with friends and business colleagues will play an even more important role at ACOS,” said Cooke. “We will be complying with all government regulations to ensure that the show will go ahead.”
“We hope that ACOS 2021 will provide an early and much needed opportunity for suppliers and operators to regroup and move forward.”
Due to ongoing redevelopment work at Olympia London, Cooke added that ACOS will also be held at a brand new venue for the 2021 event.
“On receiving the news that Olympia would be unavailable, we set to work on finding a suitable alternative. The UK amusements and coin-op communities have always had a great deal of affection for West London but suitable access and parking for vehicles considerably reduced the options.”
“Fortunately, we have managed to secure a fantastic space at the ILEC Conference Centre, located at the IBIS Earls Court. Benefiting from a £5m refit, the ILEC Conference Centre has been voted one of London’s most versatile exhibition spaces.”
“Parking and access for vehicles are all on the same level, and the main hall benefits from an airy five metres of ceiling height, unencumbered by pillars.”
The return of ACOS will be welcome news to the UK industry, with the exhibition potentially marking a significant milestone on the industry’s road to recovery.
