Bongo’s Bingo is bridging the gap before it can return to hosting its trademark madcap live bingo shows with a new free-to-watch online offering; Bongo’s Got Talent.
The weekly talent show will be hosted every Saturday via streaming service Twitch, and see entrants from across the UK compete for an eclectic range of novelty prizes.
“Before the pandemic, Bongo’s Bingo was in over 40 UK locations and more around the world, selling out shows months in advance and close to selling two million tickets,” said a spokesperson. “It will be back – but, for now, sit back and strap in for Bongo’s Got Talent.”
Each week, top acts will be chosen by a team of guest judges – “don’t get too excited,” said the spokesperson – before a public vote crowns the winner of “£500 cash cash money.”
Those keen to enter are invited to submit a video of their talent filmed in landscape mode via email, alongside their name, information about themselves, and a description of their talent.
The prize fund is set to include a Henry Hoover, giant pink fluffy unicorn, Disney Princess sets, and tickets to a Bongo’s Bingo show when available, as well as the top cash prize.
