Jolly Roger saddles up with JET for US market push

UK kiddie ride manufacturer Jolly Roger has signed a partnership with Jennison Entertainment Technologies, naming the Florida-based firm as its exclusive distributor to the United States.

 

The deal, originally signed earlier this year and concluded in June, was finally announced last week after JET consolidated the domestic support structure for the venture at its newly-expanded headquarters in Daytona Beach.

“This partnership makes perfect sense,” said JET director of domestic business development Jeff Peveler. “We are known for quality product and timely, professional customer care. Having Jolly Roger’s products and parts on hand with JET will cut down on lead time and provide a familiar presence for sales, parts and service.”

The deal will see JET cease production of its Family Fun Company rides, in order to design and develop rides for manufacture by Jolly Roger in Skegness, before being distributed across the US under the FFC brand as of late 2020.

Former senior director of game operations for CEC Entertainment, Paul Teneyuca, is also reported to be working with JET to develop the business in the domestic market.
