Continuing its expansion despite the circumstances, Club 3000 has announced two new venues backed by a significant investment of £2m, creating 80 jobs in Oxford and Wigan at a time when the country needs them most.
Club 3000 will invest £2m after applying for bingo licenses for venues at Robin Leisure Park in Wigan and the Kassam Leisure Complex in Oxford.
The addition of these sites will result in Club 3000 having 21 clubs in its growing portfolio, with the operator planning to launch both clubs in March 2021. The investment across the venues will total over £2m, creating 80 jobs at a time where employment opportunities are premium.
“We are delighted to extend our portfolio of clubs to 21 and bring the Club 3000 brand to Wigan and Oxford in March 2021.
These are great venues and communities, and we are excited to offer customers a fabulous bingo experience in first-class, modern, and secure environments. We promise something special to look forward to – both for regular bingo lovers and new customers,” commented Brian Fraser, founder of Club 3000. “These completely refurbished clubs will not only offer bingo lovers a fantastic new experience but also bring much-needed jobs to the local areas especially during this very challenging time”.
Ranked the third largest operator in the bingo industry, Club 3000 continues to grow with its strategy of building new purpose-built flat-floor sites where possible, which it believes gives a greater experience for customers than the traditional approach of converting theatres. This has proven a successful model for the brand, with its club’s innovative designs and layout providing customers with a first-class bingo experience.
