Hollywood Bowl has completed the £450,000 refurbishment of its Crawley site, updating its amusement and redemption arcade, adding two new lanes to the existing 24 and installing a brand new scoring system.
The London Road venue’s Hollywood Diner, complete with pool tables and American cocktail bar, has also undergone a makeover, alongside its VIP lanes and front of house service area.
“The refurbishment has not only given the centre a completely new look, it’s given our guests so much more variety too,” said centre manager Lewis Harvey.
“The centre has had a glamorous LA-style makeover and we’re delighted to be able to continue to give our customers the best family entertainment experience with our transformation into a new generation Hollywood Bowl.”
The renovation was completed during lockdown, part of a significant investment by Hollywood Bowl into its UK venues. Though the Crawley site has now re-opened, new safety measures are in place to stem the spread of Coronavirus.
Just half of the 24 lanes are currently operational, with every other lane cordoned off to ensure social distancing.
Alternate machines in the arcade are also out of use, giving patrons more space to play and move around the site safely.
