The south east’s first Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Park is to open in Eastbourne this autumn, offering families 20,000 sq ft of “revolutionary indoor adventure.”
The centre will include a range of obstacle courses, head-to-head race lanes, and a final Warped Wall, all situated in the town’s Beacon shopping centre.
“We’ll be very much community-based and our newest facility will be fun, safe and inclusive enabling kids, adults, families and small groups of friends to create their own Ninja Warrior journeys and stories,” GM Marcus Cogger told the Eastbourne Herald.
“We believe Eastbourne is the perfect location and that we will attract customers from all over the south east.”
The park will join fellow Ninja Warrior UK sites in Stoke-on-Trent, Cardiff, Gloucester and Wigan, and will also feature a café and dining area.
“In today’s world, centres need to have not only an impressive retail offer but first-class leisure facilities too,” commented Andrew Rice, fund manager for Legal and General, which owns The Beacon.
