Staff at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich have thanked Automatic Machine Services Ltd for donating a jukebox to the hospital’s Oncology Unit, stating it will have “a huge impact.”
The machine was donated earlier this month in order to provide entertainment for children and staff at the hospital, part of AMS’ wider community outreach.
“Thanks so much for the incredible Jukebox,” said Cat Wilde, lead Macmillan paediatric oncology clinical nurse specialist. “One of our patients came to use it and was dancing with her dad in the play room! A child that is normally very shy and quiet completely came out of her shell.”
“It is going to have a huge impact on our patients (and staff!) and we cannot thank you enough!”
Commenting on the donation, AMS managing director Jason Jarrett said “we are humbled and honoured to support this cause.”
