The team at Blueprint Operations is working alongside its diverse and nationwide customer base in order to build a comprehensive picture of the demands of the market as the UK industry emerges from lockdown at different speeds and at different stages of recovery.

“There’s no doubt the gaming entertainment world across AGC, Bingo and Pub is fundamentally different from what it was five months ago. To make matters more complex the market dynamics can differ from town to town and even within towns there are significant discrepancies in terms of footfall and machine performance.”
While the overall picture will not be complete until the machine industry is up and running in Scotland, Purvis believes that despite the social and economic earthquake, players still want to be entertained. He stated: “Within what is a patchwork quilt of circumstances there are clear pockets of positivity and some notable success stories.
“We are revisiting our games development programme to ensure the digital pipeline reflects the demands of the new normal. On occasions, it does feel like a completely new set of market characteristics and it is our job to work with our customers and help to restart their businesses with outstanding content and best in breed levels of support and service.”
