The July InterFun Expo has been postponed until 2021, in light of the Coronavirus crisis, with both the 2020 DEAL expo, and Dubai 2020 also set to be pushed back until next year.

InterGame, the organisers of the Leeds Royal Armouries family entertainment and attractions showcase, confirmed the rescheduled InterFun Expo will now take place on 27- 28 April, 2021.

“The rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic has surprised everyone,” said InterGame MD Christine Butterworth. “We feel that putting the show back to next April will give the industry time to get back on its feet.”

Elsewhere, International Expo-Consults are in discussions with the Dubai World Trade Centre to postpone June’s DEAL exposition, already rescheduled once from March this year.

Also in Dubai, the executive committee of Bureau International des Expositions voted unanimously to allow members to ratify a decision to push the country’s Expo 2020 back to October 2021.

Voting will take place remotely before a 29 May deadline.
