Charlton Cooper and his team at Teen Spirit were profiled recently by their local press for the support they’ve been giving to the campaign to help protect the NHS.
Through its network at the Tower Cinema in Skegness has unveiled a tribute to NHS workers on the front-line during the Coronavirus pandemic, posting a message of appreciation on its marquee.
The Lumley Road cinema has installed a sign reading “Thank you to our NHS” on the front of the building, visible to all key workers who may be passing the seafront venue.
“We would like to say a massive thank you to all the NHS and healthcare workers who at this time are going above and beyond to help protect our great nation,” said a statement from the cinema. “You are our superheroes at this time of need.”
“Until we meet again please take care of each other, keep calm and keep smiling and try to support local businesses. We look forward to seeing you all in the future.”
The tribute comes as Tower Cinema, like all leisure and tourism businesses up and down the coast, closed its doors following government guidance.
“Tower Cinema is usually one of the busiest places on the coast, with thousands of people passing through its doors every year to see the latest blockbuster films,” reported Lincolnshire Live, adding that “a lot of Skegness residents have praised Tower Cinema for their special message.”
