Blueprint Operations, Managing Director and experienced industry executive, David Purvis, has been elected to serve on Bacta’s Division 4.
Purvis, who started his career with Corals before taking up senior positions at BLMS, Leisure Link, Inspired Gaming, Cyberview plc and Stanleybet International where he was CEO, joined the Gauselmann Group owned brand in 2019.
Commenting on his role within the trade association, Purvis said: “This is a crucial, once in a generation period for everyone involved in the delivery of gaming entertainment as the industry prepares for the introduction of a new or revised Gambling Act. Bacta is at the centre of discussions with the Gambling Commission, DCMS as well as numerous other political stakeholders and I am delighted to be working alongside colleagues from the manufacturing sector to help shape our arguments and strategies moving forward. Being part of what is the UK’s only fully integrated gaming organisation alongside sister brands comprising Praesepe, Regal, Betcom and GeWeTe, enables me to provide an holistic view of the industry and I look forward to contributing to the debate and the creation of what we hope will be a stable and progressive regulatory framework which has social responsibility at its core.”
John White, CEO of Bacta, stated: “I am delighted to welcome David to Bacta Division 4. He brings with him vast knowledge of the business, the manufacturing sector and the demands of the player – our ultimate customer. It is very important to have a major brand such as Blueprint Operations represented on Division 4 and I look forward to the important contributions that David will make to the trade association as we plan for the future.”
