Gravity UK has confirmed its new 30,000 sq ft Northampton venue is nearing completion, with “the bounciest trampolines and the biggest ball pit in Northamptonshire” set to welcome guests in February.

Talking to the Chronicle and Echo, co-founder Michael Harrison explained just what could be expected at the £3.2m active entertainment centre, including mini-golf, bowling, darts, and the UK’s first Caddy Shack bar.

“It’s going to be a great space for young and old,” Harrison said. “We’ve got everything here for the family and then, on an evening, there will be no better place to come for a beer and to enjoy all the different activities we’ve got going on.”

The top floor of the two-storey site will be focused on kids parties, with the brand’s signature trampolines, a ball pool featuring 250,000 clear balls and lights, padded swinging arm climbing wall, five-a-side pitch and cafe.

“This will be the number one offering for children’s birthday parties in the county,” said Harrison. “It’ s going to be such a fun environment to be in, it will be Northampton s coolest place, there are no two ways about it.” Downstairs the New York-themed Caddy Shack will offer games, food and drink, and live music, with the whole site creating 60 new jobs.
