Bulldog Games, the pusher and redemption brand that was launched to critical acclaim at last year’s show, made a huge statement of intent securing what managing director Peter Collinge described as a ‘significant order’ from BANDAI NAMCO for the company’s Pac-Man Pusher which is making its industry debut at EAG.
John McKenzie, managing director, Bandai Namco Holdings (UK),completed the deal on the opening morning of EAG, underlining the show’s status as the key buying event for the UK amusements industry.
Peter Collinge told Coinslot: “It’s absolutely fantastic to get EAG off to a flying start by securing a really key order from the company responsible for developing what was confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records as being the single most recognisable video game character.“
“BANDAI NAMCO is an extremely well respected name in the business and I am delighted that John has placed the first orders for what I believe will be a hugely successful piece of kit. Combining the stand out appeal of Pac-Man with the superb quality build that Bulldog is recognised for, is a winning formula.”
John McKenzie added:“Pac-Man was one of the highest grossing arcade games of all time and nearly 40-years after it was launched in 1980 the character is still recognised and loved throughout the world. Bulldog has brought a lot of energy and fresh thinking to the market with exciting, new ideas, an attention to detail and a great quality of build.
“I’m certain the Pac-Man licence will add even more appeal to the range and I’m pleased to have placed the first orders within minutes of the official launch.”
Bulldog Games’ Pac-Man pusher is available in four and eight player formats. The Deluxe version has an option to add a dot matrix top box and backlit front doors, enhancing the game’s visual appeal and Pac-Man branding.
