IHL Tech will be launching its newly enhanced product suite at EAG on the back of positive uptake results in the past year. Howard Gant talks to Coinslot about an exciting programmme ahead.
Chief executive officer of IHL, Howard Gant, has a busy year ahead of him as the technology-focused company jumps into 2019 with a portfolio of prod- ucts that seem to have captured the zeitgeist of the British industry.
Talking to Coinslot ahead of EAG, Gant started with the technology. “IHL is launching SmartHUB,”he explained, “a central point that combines all of our smart solutions that meet LCCP requirements including ADR, Test Purchasing, compliance assistance and core machine management advice.”
But there was a bit more to this as visitors to EAG will see next week. Gant confirmed: “We’ll be launching IHL’s enhanced product suite with new innovative solutions that provide truly paperless socially responsible and compliance sup- port.”
He hit the top note; social responsibility, at the fingertip.
The changing regulatory land- scape will be presenting countless issues for operators over the coming years, and IHL have been exploring solutions that will ease this burden.
“Our innovative product line up is designed to help operators to meet and exceed the current regulatory requirements.”
EAG will mark the beginning of a key twelve months for Gant’s team, as they look to build on market successes so far.
And Gant was understandably enthused by the prospects.
“Encouragingly, IHL has seen a steady growth in AGC and high street bingo customers over the last twelve months with Smart EXCLUSION.”
“ The next twelve months will be all about helping operators to comply with their LCCP requirements whilst at the same time, giving them the tools to deliver and report their safer gambling efforts in a consistent manner.”
With social responsibility at the very heart of what IHL does, the company is clearly tuned in to the industry and the marketplace. So, what will make it easier for the business to move forward.
“The industry needs to be able to focus on business performance and growth, particularly in the light of the B2 stake change,” Gant observed. “IHL has produced SmartHUB so that operators can deal with their ‘safer gambling’ and LCCP requirements more effectively, allowing them to focus their attention on the growth opportunities.”
But looking further afield, Gant sees key changes required if the trading environment is going to change for the best. “Firstly, we must be able to use innovation and technology to make operating more efficient. We then need to learn quickly by working together on these key issues – we will only improve the industry’s reputation and standing by doing so – and finally,we must get back to having fun running our businesses, and ensuring our customers are having fun too.”
