Project, the UK industry’s poker specialists, has confirmed that it will be unveiling Jacks and Jokers, its latest poker themed game, at January’s EAG.

Representing the 12th poker based machine to come out of the Project stable,Jacks and Jokers has a high hit frequency which succeeds in keeping players engaged and is also being made available with a 25p optional stake.

Commenting on the launch, Project managing director Tony Boulton said: “In the decade that we’ve been producing poker themed machines we’ve seen the genre develop a substantial following of committed and loyal players many of whom represent new customers and new revenue for an AGC. In order to meet the specific needs of what is an evolving market, our development strategy is to provide players with a differentiated offering. Jacks and Jokers achieves this key requirement by giving the player more in terms of added layers of entertainment and more decision making opportunities such as the provision of Joker Hints in the Hi/Lo gamble feature and the inclusion of more jokers in the main game.”

He continued: “Poker doesn’t go out of fashion, it works across machine categories and it can be deployed either as a stand alone machine or, as we’ve demonstrated in 5 Star Games,as part of a mixed game style compendium. Key to its success and its longevity is the fact that it generates differentiated income courtesy of its distinct player base. It’s a revenue stream that’s independent from slot income which means that businesses aren’t simply cannibalising player spend. Poker adds something very different to an AGC’s gaming floor and variety has to be a cornerstone of the gaming experience.”

Alongside its successful poker stable Project will also be using EAG to
showcase its Wheel Series of games, comprising Fortune Wheel, Bonus Spins and Golden Spins, as well as its new Simple Play Plus category of Spin n Win, Bubbling Bonus and Super Spins.
