The expansion of FEC chain 360 Play is set to continue, with work already underway on a seventh location.

A 20,000 square foot unit in Northampton’s Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre will be home to the new play-centre, which will boast dodgems, a carousel, SPI’s Global Play’s multi- tiered play frame, and the brand’s trademark “360 Street” play area, complete with shops, utilities, and other “high street” locations.

Pinned for opening in the early part of the new year, 360 Play Rushden Lakes will see up to 40 new members of staff join the budding FEC brand, which is owned and operated by Milton Keynes-based outfit DP Leisure.

Marking its pace of growth, 360 Play currently operates sites in Milton Keynes, Stevenage, Leicester, Basildon and Redditch, 360 Play opened its sixth venue in Farnborough last October.

“We are delighted to announce plans for the seventh 360 Play at Rush- den Lakes, which extends the roll out of the brand around the UK even further,” remarked the company’s managing director Duncan Phillips of its latest expansion. “[This] site provides a wonderful mix of retail and leisure and is a superb destination for families.”
