The drive to establish Weston-super-Mare’s Grand Pier as a key year-round hospitality venue is continuing its rapid pace with high ticket sales for its Christmas events already being reported.
Partygoers appear increasingly keen to make the seafront attraction a part of their own yuletide festivities and for the fourth year running the Pier has seen a growth in business, with three of the four Festive Fever party nights already sold out.
Hollie Otley, event manager at the Grand Pier, said: “We’re thrilled that people have been snapping up tickets to our Christmas celebration events.
“Anyone else who wants to make the Pier a part of their festivities should book as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment. Whichever event you attend, we’ll be pulling out all the stops to ensure you have a fantastic Christmas celebration with us at the Grand Pier, and we can’t wait to get the parties started.”
Representing one of the largest and most developed hospitality venues in Weston-super-Mare, the Grand Pier’s ability to host such events is a key tenet of the site’s business strategy.
Those in attendance of the Christmas celebrations will be given one hour of unlimited rides before a two-course meal and an after-dinner party hosted by the Pier’s resident DJ.
This wholesale offering stands the site out as a venue and is crucial in keeping income steady over the months where other more seasonally-dependent sites may feel sharp slowdowns or temporarily close altogether.
