The G-Squared stand served to highlight the variety of company’s offering, comments director Jonathan Powell, with digital content, analogue units and cashless payment systems all receiving considerable attention.
Coinslot: How did you find ACOS this year?
Jonathan Powell: “We had a great show at ACOS this year and took a good number of orders for our digital product Casino King, as well as for our latest, fully approved, analogue game, Plumber’s Payday. It was also really exciting to have so many customers request to have their current Casino Kings Playgo enabled. This shows that people are ready and willing to embrace cashless technology.
CS: What were your standout products?
JP: “At G-Squared, we have three main areas of focus; digital gaming, analogue gaming and cashless payments. We were able to showcase all of these at this year’s ACOS.
On our digital product, Casino King, we were exhibiting our brand new titles, Fortune Fishin’ and Rise of Ra as well as two new menus.Whilst the future may well be digital, we are still committed to producing games for the analogue market.
“As was the case at EAG,our showstopper was Playgo, the cashless gaming solution. The reaction is always great as people are blown away by how intuitive and slick the fund transfer process is.The plug and play, black box solution also got people talking as we are now able to offer a retrofit for all gaming machines.”
CS: How important was it to catch up with the industry?
JP: “ACOS is always a great opportunity to showcase new products, meet customers and catch up with industry colleagues. This year was no different and it was great to see such a mix of new and familiar faces. These events are not only great for networking but also act as a melting pot for industry ideas that could end up producing the next concept, product or collaboration.”
CS: How has the move to the Olympia impacted the show?
JP: “Olympia is a great venue and provides an intimate environment for what is now,one of the major events of the year. I think the move has only proved to enhance the event and we look forward to exhibiting here for many more to come.”
