The fortnightly Coinslot music feature created and sponsored by TouchTunes has been rebranded as‘My TouchTunes’ coinciding with renewal of the agreement with GB Media and the UK launch of the Angelina, the latest ground breaking jukebox to come out of the TouchTunes stable.
Developed in conjunction with Sound Leisure in order to meet the specific needs of the UK market, Angelina features the same interface as its predecessor and has been enhanced by a spectacular on site presence delivered by a specially developed state of the art lighting system.
Sales and marketing manager Toby Hoyte believes the ‘My TouchTunes’ feature provides a strong platform to build awareness of what industry observers have described as the ‘very best juke in the world’.
He explained: “The music editorial feature that we’ve created has become a ‘must read’ part of Coinslot. Each fortnight we’ve been able to shine a light on the musical loves and hates of some of the industry’s best known and most respected personalities.
“Of the 26 people that have participated, no track has been named more than once and the selections have been as broad as the music choice offered by TouchTunes stretching from Rod Stewart to Rihanna,Mud to Mambo No. 5 and Cher to Chopin. It’s a great, fun initiative and one that we are delighted to have developed.”
Expanding on TouchTunes commitment to R&D, Toby Hoyte continued: “Consumers, in particular those from a younger profile, simply don’t accept the limits of the past. Everything needs to be instant and this can only be met by harnessing the power of technology.
