With annual results issued recently, AGC operator Luxury Leisure Talarius are looking to move on in the marketplace with some vigour. 2018 has seen a strong performance, and there’s clearly more to come.

Along with the rebrand to Admiral, the business has also fully refurbished over a dozen venues with its High Street Casino concept – offering a luxurious gaming environment of appeal to players across all gaming sectors.

Market leading AGC operator Luxury Leisure Talarius are celebrating as the last of the Talarius estate rebrands to Admiral this month. This follows the hugely successful introduction of the Admiral brand across Luxury Leisure venues in 2017.

Previously the businesses traded mainly as Nobles Amusements and Quicksilver.

The rebrand to Admiral follows both companies being acquired by Novomatic and the combining of the two businesses last year under a single management team. The Admiral footprint in the UK now spans over 230 venues and expands on the established network of Admiral venues across Europe, where it is a household name.

The newly consolidated business goes from strength to strength in the UK, posting combined profit before tax of over £17m against a turnover of £134m in 2017.

This performance was achieved despite a number of challenges to the business – including an ongoing CMA investigation which lasted until late last year and involved the disposal of several arcades.

The success story has continued in 2018 with the opening of a new venue in Norwich – which goes from strength to strength – and major investments in hard- ware across all machine manufacturers and TITO infrastructure which has rolled out in the former Talarius estate.

Indeed that work to further the brand building continues with several new venues and initiatives planned to open in 2019 along with further refurbishment of the existing estate.

Strategic partnerships with fellow Novomatic businesses like Greentube, who recently launched, will further the brand reach in the UK and provide an online extension to the bricks and mortar experience of playing with Admiral.
