Since its debut, Coconut Shy, distributed by Instance Automatics has brought all the fun of the fair to premises across the country, and boosted cash boxes to boot.
Launched at EAG last year, Coconut Shy is another of the attractive ticket option, coin op entertainment machines produced by UNIS Games. Interest in this fun fair side stall style unit has been positive and over the last few months, Instance Automatics, official UK and Ireland distributors for UNIS Games, has had the new two player version on test.
Instance Automatics managing director Ian Eason considers this to be a real knock-down winner: “Coconut Shy is currently on test and we are seeing fantastic income figures… based on a six week average net income it was number one out of 47 machines in the same venue.”
Available in one or two player units, this is a simple funfair style entertainment piece, where players throw balls to knock over coconut targets.
“The more coconuts you knock down, the higher the score and hitting specially lit coconuts gives extra points,” continued Eason. Players must accumulate enough points to activate the Bonus Wheel for a chance to win big.
The three metre long cabinet features visually impressive colourful lights meaning that players of all ages are instantly drawn to the unit.
Eason concluded: “Be it a one player, two player unit or a wall of these fantastic machines, they have that wow factor and I predict Coconut Shy is going to be a real winner over the next couple of years. Visit the Crown stand at ACOS to try out the one player unit of Coconut Shy for yourself.”
