Gala Leisure is continuing the rebrand of its retail bingo halls with 98 more venues set to launch as Buzz Bingo throughout September and October.
Following the company’s initial announcement in May, which saw only a handful of clubs make the rebrand, Gala Leisure is pushing forward to launch 49 more clubs by 15 September,with each club hosting its own party where local VIP players will cut the ribbon.
“When we asked our customers and colleagues to name a single word to describe their bingo experience,the word ‘Buzz’ came up time and time again, so we named our clubs after that feeling,” explained Simon Shaw, chief retail officer at Gala Leisure. “We pride ourselves on our community spirit and our friendly and supportive team is buzzing about being part of your next fun day or night out with friends and family.”
Accompanying there brand is a £40m investment plan for the next two years as Gala Leisure embarks on its long-term plan to “re-ignite the relevancy of bingo in British culture”.
