A lightning-fast refurb effort has seen Ten Entertainment Group – the second largest ten-pin bowling operator in the country – open doors on a new venue in Chichester.

The owners of the Tenpin brand acquired what was formerly Lakeside Superbowl at Chichester Gate Leisure Park earlier this year. A complete overhaul and re-branding project commenced just six weeks ago, with the company able to welcome its first customers to the new-look venue last week.

New flooring, 16 upgraded lanes, a new restaurant and kitchen were among the upgrades to be included – as well as a raft of new amusement machines and pool tables.

To ingratiate itself with the community, opening night even saw Tenpin hold a charity fundraiser.

“We’re very proud to have been able to open a very fresh and modern site here in Chichester,” commented site general manager Danny Bean. “We were in a very strong position to be able to give this multiplex the love it required with a major cash injection.”

The addition of Chichester to Ten Entertainment’s portfolio brings its total number of sites to 44 – with a staff roster in excess of 1,100 people.
