BANDAI NAMCO has started shipping the first Halo Fireteam Raven product out to its EMEA markets.
There are limited numbers of the four-player super deluxe version of the game, which has been hailed as one of the most ground-breaking out-of-home gaming experiences in decades.
In the Middle East, the firm’s distribution partner, Warehouse of Games, has sold the units into Magic Planet and Al Hokair locations in the region. MBA in France have taken a quantity of the product for the French market, for locations including Le Têtes Dans Les Nuages in Paris.
In Italy, Faro Games are representing the product. In the UK, BANDAI NAMCO is shipping to premier locations including Tenpin sites, Hollywood Bowl sites, Butlins and NAMCO Funscape County Hall.
Halo Fireteam Raven was created by Raw Thrills, in collaboration with Play Mechanix and 343 Industries. Up to 4-players take part in the events of the original Halo storyline from an all new perspective – the ODST soldiers of Fireteam Raven. The aim of the game is to provide cover fire and mission assistance for Master Chief and defeat fan-favourite enemies like the Covenant and Flood. The full arsenal of weapons from across the Halo universe is available to use, while players can enjoy cutting edge 4K graphics on Play Mechanix’s NexaGen arcade game engine.
An unprecedented massive dual 65” screen panoramic display sets the stage as Fireteam Raven transports players into the world of Halo where they can get lost in the stunning environmental cabinet, featuring force feedback ODST weapons and booming 5.1 surround sound. The legions of Halo faithful will be able directly link to their XBox Live accounts via Halo Waypoint and Halo: Fireteam Raven’s scanner interface to access exclusive STATS and rewards.
“BANDAI NAMCO Amusement Europe Ltd (BNAE) has the exclusive rights to Halo: Fireteam Raven, which is without a doubt, the most spectacular arcade simulator ever made, and we are proud to represent the product in our region and work with our partners” says Commercial & Sales Director James Anderson. “We have now sold out of the product from the current production availability but we will inform customers when more become available.”
