Natwest provided Icon boost

It has been revealed that Natwest, alongside Lombard, supplied a £6m asset finance package to owners of Blackpool Pleasure Beach to make sure the now-opened Icon coast was operational in time.

Chris Thomas, relationship manager at NatWest, said: “From working with Jonathan and the Blackpool Pleasure Beach team, I know there was so much work that went on behind the scenes to ensure the ride was completed on time. It will be a welcome addition to an already iconic theme park.”

£60,000 go kart attraction for Sandown

A new £60,000 go kart attraction is to be constructed in the coastal hotspot of Sandown on the Isle of Wight. The 200 metre track is the latest in a series of developments to Sandham Gardens where a high rope course was recently approved by the local council.

Oakwood seeks directors of fun

Oakwood, the largest theme park in Wales, has launched a new campaign to find three young adults to become directors of fun and ensure the best possible experiences for other guests.
The winning applicants will have the chance to put their ideas to senior executives and win a family annual pass.
