After 23 years of exchanging tickets for prizes in one location, the redemption kiosk of The Arkade in Minehead, Somerset is being moved to a new home on the FEC’s floor.

Owner Marcus Kravis explained that the kiosk’s updated position provides a better view for both staff and players, as well as freeing up some room for new equipment.

“Where we have moved it to is more space efficient and the area is already raised, so it has a great view of the arcade. We hope it will be easier for giving out prizes, and also it never does any harm to change things around a bit. After 23 years, I think we just got fed up of it where it was, and this will give us a few more options on the overall Arkade layout.”
