Project is expanding its successful offering of poker based gaming entertainment with the development of Poker King, an innovative, new B4 category game which gives players the opportunity to stake at £2/£200 jackpot and £1/£100.
The B4 game, which will be unveiled to the industry at January’s EAG, will be the first housed in Project’s new V23 cabinet.
Poker King is the latest example of Project’s commitment to provide players with affordable, value for money gaming entertainment, as managing director Tony Boulton explained: “Poker King has been developed with the prime objective of fitting the player and not the legislation. We are very aware of the importance of providing compelling entertainment within a framework of affordability and we have kept the same Cat C ratios that players are comfortable with.
“Poker King is being promoted as a £200 jackpot machine and our recommendation is for operators to site it alongside existing poker based games from the Project stable.”
He added: “Our new cabinet, which features a 23” screen, helps to differentiate Poker King from its sister products on the gaming floor. Furthermore, playing on a bigger screen is more in line with a higher stake, gaming entertainment experience.
“As well as the larger screen, the V23 has been ergonomically engineered with the coin mech relo- cated to the button deck providing players with a more comfortable and user-friendly experience.”
In the summer Project confirmed that sales of its poker themed games had reached a three year high and that the average poker stake had increased by 14% year-on-year up from 58p to 66p.
