The Chinese industry will host the world’s gaming and gambling elite at the MGS Entertainment Show at the Venetian Macao on 14-16 November 2017.
Celebrating the Smart City, MGS, which is backed and funded by the Macau government and the SAR’s liaison office from Beijing, will feature all the world’s top gaming manufacturers including Aristocrat, IGT, Konami, through to Chinese tech giants Alibaba, the largest gaming event in Asia, China Joy, and pioneers of artificial intelligence Qihan Technology who will have their Sanbot King Kong humanoid on display.
As well as the showfloor, the Macau Government and industry experts will be discussing the future of technology and new markets such as Japan in the wake of the recent re-election of Shinzo Abe.
One of the world’s fastest growing trade events, the MGS Entertainment Show offers one specific opportunity for the UK amusement industry insofar as the key players behind the expo are closely tied to
Macau’s huge resort operators and the key authorities that will play a major role in the Chinese Belt and Road trading initiative. For networking and putting a foot in the door of the Chinese boom, MGS offers an interesting option, not least of all a city that is searching for diversity and tourism – something that the UK amusements industry is well versed in supplying.
