Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2017 has confirmed it will feature skill-based slots for the first time at this year’s event alongside a number of other key draws.

Leading international trade show Global Gaming Expo (G2E) is gearing up for its Las Vegas extravaganza.

This year’s edition will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, running from October 2-5. Skill based slot machines, security and the future of sports betting and esports will feature as key draws this year.

“As the legalisation of sports betting continues to grab national headlines, G2E 2017 will bring in the nation’s top experts to address what a legal, regulated sports betting market will look like for our industry,” said Geoff Freeman, president and CEO of event organiser the American Gaming Association.

The first keynote speaker is business leader and best-selling author Roberta Perry. She has been a key force in the themed and leisure entertainment industries for over 25 years, having held vice president positions at 20th Century Fox, Iwerks Entertainment and Edwards Technologies Inc. Additionally, attendees will have a chance to try skill-based slot machines before they are released to the general public.

There will also be engaging programs from other key thought leaders detailing the latest in technology innovation, developments in cyber security, sports betting and more.
