Two-day gaming spectacular PLAY Expo Blackpool will take place at the Norcalympia Exhibition Centre on July 15- 16.
Back for its sixth year, the expo is the UK’s longest running retro-game show and features an array of talks, tournaments, exhibitors and general gaming mayhem.
“Our sheer wealth of content, world-class special guests and unmissable interactive action provide superb value for gamers of all ages and we look forward to delivering another memorable weekend of gaming,” commented Andy Brown, director of organiser Replay Events.
Two large hydraulic sit-down cabinets from Sega and a selection of original pinball machines will be available, as well as 80 original arcade cabinets set to free play. There also be opportunities to try the latest Virtual Reality technology.
Additionally, the Pacman World Record holder will be attempting to beat his score over the entire weekend, in a bid to raise money for local charity Blackpool Carers Centre.
